Who are Recology?
We started Recology in order to make it easy for South Africans to access high quality eco-friendly brands not easily found in South Africa. These brands not only promote a better lifestyle but contribute to a cleaner and more Sustainable Africa.
Each product has been carefully researched and tested by our team to ensure it fits with our ethos of “reduce, re-use and recycle.

When will I receive my order?
We are based in Johannesburg and cape town and we ship countrywide. You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been placed. All orders are processed within 1-2 business days. With a 3-5-day shipping time.
You will receive a tracking number once your package has shipped. Please allow 24-48 hours for tracking numbers to update.
How much does shipping cost?
We are continuously working to lower shipping costs to our customers.
We use three major shipping carriers - Courier Guy, Dawn wing and Courier IT.
We offer a standard shipping fee of R65.00 country wide for all orders below R650.
We offer free shipping on all orders above R6500.00.
We aim for a plastic free supply chain, so your package will come in paper or cardboard packaging to ensure we do not add to the problem, your packing slip will also be delivered by email to reduce the usage of ink and paper production and shipping.
Are there customs or import duty
Recology was started out of a frustration of dealing with such charges on international products, we have taken care of all the shipping, import and clearance of these products to take out the hassle and make them easily available to South Africans, so you don’t need to worry, all orders are fulfilled locally
My item is incorrect or defected?
The Recology team will inspect every item for quality before it’s shipped out. If by rare chance you end up with a defected item, please email us with 24 hours of receiving your package so that we can rectify the situation at email@example.com.
If we accidentally shipped you the wrong item, again, please email us within 24 hours so that we can get the correct order to you as soon as possible.
How do I change or cancel my order?
The Recology team processes orders quickly to ensure they reach our customers as fast as possible. If you need to make changes to your order please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible.
Once your order has been dispatched, we can not make any changes or cancel your order.
I forgot to use my Promo Code. Can it still be applied?
Unfortunately, once orders are placed, we cannot manually apply a discount code. The good news is you can still use your code for your next purchase!
My order is marked as “Delivered” but I did not receive it?
We understand how frustrating lost packages can be! For that reason, we offer tracking with every shipment. Sometimes a package gets scanned before it’s delivered.
- Give it 24 hours to see if it turns up the next delivery day.
- Check with your neighbors to see if it was delivered to wrong address.
- Check with your property management office if applicable
- Check with your local mail carrier. It may be on hold for pickup.
What is your Return/ Exchange policy?
We gladly accept returns within 14 days of receiving your order if it meets our requirements.

If our item meets all return criteria, please email email@example.com to initiate the return process. Please include your order number and which item(s) you would like to return. Returns that do not meet our guidelines will not be accepted under any circumstance.
